The Gabrielino boys volleyball team began their season with a win against Ontario Chirstian taking all three sets. They followed up that win with a victory against Bosco Tech with a final score of 3-0.
Although their season was cut short, the Eagles were able to snatch their final win against Village Christian with a score of 3-0.
“I will miss the times we spent together as a team,” stated Senior Captain Matthew Lau, “I want all my teammates to know they are all amazing.”
Their season may have been brief but that did not stop them from improving upon their skill sets and growing as a team.
“An accomplishment that the team had this year was better teamwork and communication,” recalls Lau.
The eagles hold aspirations to have a strong start to their season next year as they did this year and to play every game as thought it’s their last. They want to make the graduating seniors proud and commemorate them through every game they play.
