The varsity baseball team managed to bat their way through the season, continuing to persevere and remain confident despite ending the season with a loss against South El Monte High School on April 18, 6-7.
Throughout the season, the Eagles demonstrated teamwork and dedication to overcome any difficult obstacle that they encountered. Their hard work was shown off in their game against the San Gabriel High School on Feb. 22 where they obtained a clean win, 9-1.
The Eagles started off the season strong, but obtained losses throughout the season, finishing the season, 4-13.. But rather than focusing on the negatives, the Eagles turned to focus on learning from their mistakes.
Junior Brandon Wong stated, “My favorite memory of this season is watching my friends and I improve from the beginning of the season to the end.”
