On May 3, Gabrielino High School held its senior and junior prom at the Skirball Cultural Center, a Jewish museum in west Los Angeles, from 7:30 to 11:30 pm.  Hundreds of students lined the path outside the museum as they waited for the doors to open. Shortly after 7:30 pm,  students were checked in. Prom took place in the main courtyard adjacent to the entrance, with an upper terrace open to attendees and periphery rooms housing more tables. A 360 photo booth was available on the upper terrace and Clifford Photography was also present for those who had paid for photography. A game room behind the reception area also housed a few table games.

Dinner, consisting of salad, mashed potatoes, vegetables, pasta, and chicken, was served from 7:30 to 9:30 pm and was provided by in-house catering. Smaller desserts were provided until 11:30 pm and two small dry bars provided free sodas and a few mixed drinks.
