On June 4, the Alhambra Teachers Association is hosting its Second Annual San Gabriel Valley Pride Parade and Festival in collaboration with the City of Monterey Park. The parade starts at 9:30 a.m. at Mark Keppel High School (501 E. Hellman Ave., Alhambra) and will end at Barnes Park (350 S. McPherrin Ave., Monterey Park). The festival starts after the parade at 10 a.m. in Barnes Park and ends at 12 p.m.
LA Pride in the Park will be held June 11 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Los Angeles State Historic Park (1245 N. Spring St., Los Angeles). The event will feature musical guests with Christina Aguilera and Anitta as the headliners. Tickets start at $60.
Altadena is hosting its First Annual Altadena Pride Walkout on June 11. The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Altadena Library and ends at the Altadena Senior Center at 3 p.m. There will be several activities occurring along the way. There will also be a LGBTQ+ Youth Summit at the close of the day.
On June 12, LA Pride will also be holding its 52nd Annual LA Pride Parade on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.
